AUTOMOTIVE PRE-OWNED SALES MANAGER/TEAM LEADER
We have an immediate opening for a Team Leader in the Pre-Owned Sales Department at the #1 GM Certified PreOwned Dealer in the Nation, Karl Chevrolet. Job Purpose: Responsible for leadership and day to day management of pre-owned sales team. Development and implementation of plans to help each sales professional succeed meeting the responsibilities of their position. Provide leadership, supervision and development for Sales Personnel.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Sales: Develop and execute sales strategies to help sales team meet or exceed monthly sales forecast, balancing the needs of the customer with the business interests of the dealership. Plan organize and direct sales activities to support the sales team in succeeding in meeting and exceeding dealership goals. Help build accurate and challenging sales forecasts, tracking sales activity against forecast, consistently identifying opportunities to improve results. Support team members as they build value in the price of any vehicle we sell, and the relationship with our premiere Chevrolet Dealership.
Supervision and Coaching of Sales Staff: Responsible for assisting in the recruitment, selection, coaching and retention of a successful sales team. Through consistent use of our individual and sales team scorecards provide guidance and continual support to sales team members as they strive to meet and exceed the expectations outlined in their job descriptions. Support all training efforts to insure sales team has expert knowledge of product and dealership services. Regularly lead team meetings providing clear communication of performance expectations and Dealership support.
Organizational Leadership/General Management: Participate as a member of the Sales Management team, contributing ideas and recommendations as to how to continue to build a culture of success and continuous improvement. Understand market and competitive environments, advising Sales Management of potential risks and opportunities
Service: Provide outstanding customer service to all dealership customers, greeting and welcoming each as the opportunity presents itself, insuring we get them where they need to be with a proper hand- off. Insure a high level of personal service for each of your sales team members, understanding that the service we provide internally effects the service to our dealership customers. Always follow up to make sure customer needs are met. Administration and Compliance: Make sure all required paperwork and documentation is completed neatly, accurately and in a timely manner. Insure all policies and procedures as it pertains to customer accounts and transactions are followed consistently by team members. Support accurate tracking of production and contacts. Provide complete documentation to the Finance and Delivery Departments to Consistently follow dealership processes for title and delivery
Advocacy for Dealership Excellence: Help create and support a work culture that fosters and rewards excellence and promotes teamwork and collaboration. Build value in each customer relationship helping to insure a Karl Chevrolet Customer for Life
Qualifications: HS Diploma, previous sales experience preferred, not required. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build and lead a successful team. Excellent communication, presentation, time management and organization skills. Proficient in MS software. Clean driving record.
- Base salary plus aggressive bonus plan. ? You will receive every other weekend (Saturday) off.
